Well, here we go again- Mr H. here with upcoming DVD releases for TV Series sets that feature hosed foot shots. I'll also give you some reviews of already released sets. First off Mission Impossible Season 3 comes out NEXT Tuesday (11/20). This has TWO episodes with Barbara Bain's stocking feet, one with her taking off her shoes, leaving them as a trail to BE found. The other, she's been interrogated and her shoes are off as she's stretched out on the floor. She also has no shoes on when she's brought for a hostage exchange at the episode's end.
I'll be back soon with some reviews, and what items some of you may want to put in your Xmas 'stockings'.

In the past, I've discussed certain directors of live film and even comic artists that seem to make a point of having hosed feet clearly in the shot, if not the FOCAL point of a comic panel, animation frame or live shot.
Case in point - When I was a kid, one of the hottest chicks in cartoons was Daphne on Scooby Doo. She always wore tights and heels, but for some reason NEVER lost a shoe. Well, a few years back, as members of Mick's incarnation of FHS know, that particular 'mystery' was done, as in the first season of What's New Scooby Doo, there came an episode where Daphne takes her shoe off showing her hosed foot, as the FOCAL point of the scene.
In season two, there was a scene where she takes it of again, to THROW at a switch to turn a machine off, IN CLOSEUP.
Well, Season 3 has just been released, and you guessed it, there's a foot shot here too. There's an episode where Velma is in a VR game, and Daphne loses a shoe. It gets pointed out and they CLOSEUP on her hosed foot as she puts on a spare.
Again, I'm not saying that this necessarily 'counts' as hosed foot sightings & material to some, but it IS proof that there are others LIKE US in 'strategic points' that like to give us a 'nod'.
UPCOMING: March brings us The LOVE BOAT SEASON 1 Vol. 1 - This was a GOLDMINE for stringy-strap heels and even hosed legs/feet shots by the pool!
April brings Laverne & Shirley Season 4. There's a 2 parter here that's a 'mystery on a train' theme, and in it, Shirley is knocked out and in her hosed feet.
Remember - 80's shows ABOUND with hosed foot shots! GRab em when you can!

Does anyone know the episode names for the Mission Impossible Series 3 scenes. One is called the Exchange but the other where cinnamon leaves a trail is still a mystery. Perhaps it is from another series, 1 or 2.
a great film is Government Girl with Olivia De Havilland. well worth a look. Also Episode 7 from season two of the Mary Tyler Moore show is superb. It is the High school reunion.

The descriptions are SO similar, on at least THREE episodes between the first 3 seasons, SOMEONE must've got them mixed up. As far as I can tell, it SHOULD be on Season 2. I've been trying to get it, but haven't been successful. As soon as I get my hands on it, I'll let you all know which one for sure.
The HS Reunion epsiode of MTM IS INDEED a great one. Also look for the one where they;re up late researching obituaries. after they're up all night, they start getting silly. Rhodah & Mary's shoes were off already, and they start falling off the couches, sticking hosed feet in the air. Not sure of the ep name though, sorry.
We still have about a year to go until they get to the Epsiode of The FUGITIVE called "Echo of a Nightmare" LOTS of great hosed footshot closeups.

The Obituary episode I mentioned earlier is called "Better Late That's a Pun Than Never ", the 20th episode of Season 4. Finally managed to track it down.
BIG NEWS!! A LOT of old shows are coming to ITUNES now. The Human Bomb (The BEST hosed foot ep of Adventures of Superman) is on there, as well as the first 3 seasons of MTM so far, including the HS reunion ep. WKRP is also present (season 1) as well as I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, and other classics which featured some nice 'FOOTage'.
OH-- just checked - the 2nd season opener of Partiridge Family (Dora, Dora, Dora) is there now ,and it opens on a AWESOME shot of Shirley Jones hosed soles, rubbing together immediately after the opening credits going to black.
Outer Limits Classic is ALSO represented by the episode ZANTI MISFITS
Remington Steele, Picket Fences, Cagney & Lacey, X-Files (Season 3's Clyde Buckman w/ Peter Boyle has NICE sole shots of Gillian Anderson), The Practice, Charlie's Angels, Married with Children, party of Five, Facts of Life, Mad About You, Hart to Hart, One Day at a Time, Sil Stalkings, Hunter are also ALL on Itunes now! This means, if there's only ONE OR TWO foot shot eps, you no longer have to buy a whole DVD set to do so!
ok-- The Donna Reed Show Season 1 has been cleared and will be released Oct 28. Personally, I don;t know of any foot shots in Season 1, but the reason I bring the series up is that if it does well enough, Season 2 should follow a few months later. Season 2, ep 2 is Sleep No More My Lady, which is the episode where Donna takes a tranquilizer to help sleep on a plane, but it's so powerful it makes her loopy at her husband's acceptance speech at a convention. She loses a shoe and has no motor control trying to put it back on and slides off her chair. GREAT closeups of her trying to get her shoe back on her hosed foot.
Meanwhile, Fugitive Season 2 Vol. 1 was recently released. Meaning, we are getting closer to seeing Season 3 which includes the AWESOME closeup shots of the episode Echo of a Nightmare.
Love Boat Season 1 Vol 2 sets sail within the next few weeks. NO specifics, but this 80's gem had a LOT of distance shots & the occasional closeups and featured the usual 'hosed models by the pool' shots.

The blonde bombshell super agent has a GREAT scene where she's held prisoner and uses her HOSED FOOT to help free herself. I never watched the show, but the scene made the rounds a few years back. It would seem to me that if she wore stockings then (and NOT in a formal outfit -she was actually wearing BOOTS) there's a good chance she's wearing in other epsiodes as well-- keep an eye out.
ALICE SEASON 1 - From my memory, ther were quite a few that had some nice shots, but the best by far of season 1 HAS TO BE Ep. #9 "Good Night Sweet Vera" Where Vera (Beth Howland) overdoses on sleeping pills in a suicide pact with her boyfriend. Flo & Alice take her shoes off and march her around in her stocking feet. At Itunes, so again, no need to go out & buy the WHOLE set.
CHARLIES ANGELS SEASON 1 EPISODE 20 - "Dancing in the Dark" A blackmailing jigalo/dance teacher has to be stopped, adn Sabrina (Kate Jackson) goes undercover as a potential target. After her first date, a scene opens with Bosley massaging her hosed feet. Later on, She pretends to pass out to make herslef an 'easier' target for the blackmailer. As he drags her limp body, her shoe falls off and then you can see her hosed foot when he plops her on the bed, and then when she gets up and hobbles (STILL in 1 shoe) to the door after he escapes.
WONDER WOMAN SEASON 1 EPISODE 4 - "Beauty On Parade" - This is the beauty pageant episode where Linda Carter is hose clad MINUES the WW boots, and in strappy sandals when in disguise. - This is the ONLY season there so far.

First up - NIGHT COURT SEASON 2 HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED! They're looking at a 2nd quarter 2009 release. There are a number of nice episodes here, but the one that stands out in my mind is the one where Harry and new Public Defender Billie are tied together when a burglar bungles in on Harry's birthday party. Her shoes are off after they get tied up and remain off the rest of the show.
ALICE is NOT coming to DVD Warner Home Video announced, so get them while you can on ITUNES, as said last time, that GREAT ep w/ Vera's hosed feet is available on there.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE UPDATE - ok - FINALLY tracked down Season 2 - through bittorrent no less - and I found the episode in question, where Barbara Bain takes her shoes off to tip off her pursuers where she is, is called......

Hey guys - just letting you know I was finally able to get a few 'footage' eps off ITunes and the quality is GREAT. I already have the Partridge episode, but for $1.99 I get a copy on my computer now. The Alice episode is great! About 20 mins in, Alice takes off 1 of Vera's shoes and starts rubbing and tickling her foot to keep her awake, then takes the other off. She swaps places with Flo a few minutes later, then you see Vera gteting marched around, and falling limp to the floor in her hosed glory several times.
Thanks for all the kind words, guys. The Mission Impossible isn't on Itunes yet, but give it time.
Oh and I came across a GREAT episode of Home Improvement tonight. Season 2 Episode 17 "You're Driving Me Crazy, You're Driving Me Nuts". Tim's tring to get to a wedding, in a blizzard and gets lost. While they're driving, Jill gets changed in the back seat and you have a BEAUTIFUL LONG SHOT of her hosed legs feet and SOLES wiggling all over. I'm going to look on Torrents and see if I can find the ep, like I did with M.I., since H.I. is ALSO not yet at Itunes. I'll let you know how I mke out and post a cap or 2 if I can. Cheers!

I also happened to catch an ep of Cosby Show the other night - "Once Upon a Time" is the ep where little Rudy tells a story she wrote. At the beginning of the ep, Phylicia Rashad doffs her heels, comes to the couch, puts her feet up and rubs them. I'll see what I can find out about season & ep #.
also - the MUTANT X set which I mentioned a few posts back was canceled. Sorry bout that. I'll look into that as well on torrents.
lastly - The Night Court season 2 set has been given a release of late January.
hey folks - I LOVE BIT TORRENTS!!! You Can find almost ANYTHING there. I just got a few key episodes pf Gilligan's Island and I'll share some caps as soon as I can. The one with the double of Ginger who loses a shoe when she tries to avoid being found and the beauty contest where Maryann's shoe gets glued to the stage and remains in one shoe for the rest of the scene. Torrents is also how I got that Mission impossible episode and that GREAT Home improvement.
